Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support the company's financial health and compliance. The Bookkeeper will play a vital role in preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting activities to facilitate informed decision-making.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely Perform bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and financial records Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Assist with payroll processing and related compliance requirements Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and revenues against forecasts Maintain organized records of all financial documents for audit readiness and compliance purposes Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation

Qualifications



Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with familiarity in managing financial records effectively Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms Strong understanding of accounting principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation Experience with payroll processing is preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions Ability to analyze financial data and prepare clear reports for management review Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial analysis techniques is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required; relevant training or certifications are advantageous
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.33-$31.29 per hour
