Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential for this role. The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in supporting the financial health of our organization through diligent bookkeeping practices.

Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to verify accuracy of financial data Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial information and insights Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Prepare financial reports as needed for management review Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles including accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and payroll processing Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports effectively Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and management Knowledge of budgeting practices is a plus
