Bookkeeper

to join our team.

Key Responsibilities



The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day financial operations of both our retail and service divisions, including:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring timely collections from landscape clients.

Payroll:

Processing and managing weekly/bi-weekly payroll for all employees.

Reconciliation:

Performing bank and credit card reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.

Financial Reporting:

Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes, and generating financial reports for management review.

Inventory Tracking:

Working with the team to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation as it relates to our garden center operations.

Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to all financial regulations and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience



Proven Bookkeeping Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role.

Software Proficiency is a Must:

Strong working knowledge of

Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP)

for core accounting functions. Experience working with

Retail Edge

POS data and integrating it into the accounting system.

Industry Knowledge (A Strong Plus):

Experience with accounting in a retail, garden center, or landscape/construction environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Attributes:

Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
