Cassidy Levy Kent (Canada) LLP ("CLK") is a boutique law firm renowned for its expertise in trade remedies. Our strong and positive office culture is inclusive, with an emphasis on team-based work.

We are seeking a highly organized, multitasking, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to undertake bookkeeping responsibilities for the firm. The ideal candidate has excellent accuracy, strong communication and social skills, and can work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. The Bookkeeper reports to the Chief Operating Officer. This position is primarily an in-office position, with occasional work-from-home days. Full benefits are included.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable and receivables. Reconcile bank accounts. Process payroll, employee records and benefits coordination. Issue client invoices and follow up on payments. Process staff expenses. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Produces timely and accurate financial reporting.
Office Support:

General administrative duties as required. Assist with catering for clients. Maintain office supplies.
Qualifications:

Prior and proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Post-secondary diploma or degree in bookkeeping or accounting. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Prior experience in payroll with a working knowledge of payroll rules. Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Soluno or PCLaw is a strong asset. Ability to work with Adobe Acrobat is considered an asset.

Pay: $48,750.00-$70,000.00 per year
