Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator

Job Description

We're a small public accounting firm looking for a reliable, organized multi-tasker to join our team. If you enjoy variety, client interaction, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the role for you!

What You'll Do

Maintain client books (invoices, banking and credit card transactions, monthly reconciliations, prepare GST/HST returns, payroll remittances) Prepare personal tax returns (T1s) and support corporate year-end files Schedule meetings and manage deadlines Update WIP (work-in-progress) lists Send invoices and process payments Communicate with clients for follow-ups or missing info Assist with general office admin and project coordination
What We're Looking For

Bookkeeping experience (formal education or equivalent) Comfortable with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Wave, etc.) and Microsoft Office Personal tax prep experience is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communicator and client-friendly Independent, proactive, and a team player
Hours & Schedule

Approx. 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday Overtime during tax season (Feb-April)

Base Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
