Kibo Franchising Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will support our financial operations, ensuring compliance and precision in accounting processes. This position is based in our North York office.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
Process payroll in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
Prepare and generate financial reports as required by management
Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) to manage transactions and records efficiently.
Support general office management tasks such as sorting mail, organizing documents, and maintaining tidy workspaces
Assist in miscellaneous tasks as required, in line with the scope of the role
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company procedures
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of accounting principles, including payroll, A/P, and A/R
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Capable of working independently and within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance is an asset but not required
