We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow within the organization. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in various accounting functions.
Duties
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Post journal entries
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
Prepare trial balance of books Reconcile accounts
Skills
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Sage.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, bank reconciliation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and clients professionally.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
