Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Mississauga
Hey there meticulous, detail-oriented number-crunchers! If you\'re ready to bring your organizational superpowers to a company in its early stages of operation, Quantum wants to chat!
Our client, still in the thrilling infancy of operations, is on the hunt for a Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to join their Mississauga-based team. This role reports directly to the President and promises to keep you knee-deep in day-to-day accounting adventures.
Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:
- Keep a hawk-eye on daily cash balances and ensure everything\'s playing nice in the G/L sandbox.
- Journal entries? Yep, you\'ll be the maestro behind those entries, ready for review and approval.
- Bank deposits? You\'ll handle those if they\'re flying solo, updating the A/R sub ledger or G/L like a pro.
- From journal entries to credit card statements, you\'ll keep the electronic and paper trail in tip-top shape.
- Audits? You\'ll strut your stuff, assisting in both year-end and internal audits.
- Invoices! You\'ll receive, sort, and make sure they get the golden \'approval\' stamp before they hit the payment trail.
- QuickBooks wizardry? You\'ve got this! Code or verify coding of G/L accounts like a pro.
About You:
- You\'re a post-secondary education whiz in business administration or accounting.
- With 3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping magic up your sleeve, you\'re a seasoned pro.
- Full cycle accounting is your jam, and you know the dance steps like nobody else.
- Juggling tasks with deadlines don\'t scare you; you\'re the master multitasker.
- Microsoft Office? QuickBooks? You navigate those like a pro surfer rides waves.
