Job Description

Use your talents as a Bookkeeper in a newly available position that Robert Half is looking to fill. This Bookkeeper position would be a great fit for someone with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. Major responsibilities

- Oversee accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Settle accounts by reconciling entries

- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

- Review payments received and record deposits

- Organize a structured method to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; define bookkeeping policies and procedures

- Manage and review general ledger
- Experience with Credit Card Reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- Command of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Bank reconciliations experience

- Adeptness in month end closings

- Demonstrated knowledge of Government Remittances

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
