Job Description

Blake Medical Group Inc., is a proud Canadian family owned manufacture of medical seating, mattresses and a unique gel that is the fundamental part of our product line, based in Hamilton, Ontario. We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team as we continue to grow and early-stage entry into the European market.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

- Process and record financial transactions accurately and timely

- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation

- Provide support to the finance team as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,678.21-$62,560.82 per year
