The Right Person for this Position:

You really love making things balance. You feel a certain satisfaction when you find that last reconciling item and you can finish the bank rec for the month.

You enjoy the details around fussy payrolls and getting them out on time.

You easily handle the monthly deadlines that surround small businesses.

You take great pride in your work and the difficulties that it entails. You enjoy doing the "book" work for other people who just aren't wired that way. It puts a smile on your face when you can take that pressure away from them and make their business run smoother.

You love variety and enjoy having multiple clients with different businesses to test all your skills.

Our senior bookkeeper is going on maternity leave and we need a capable person to fill in for at least one year.

Skills that would help with this position:

Quickbooks online and/or Sage accounting software experience

Use Excel during your work and other Office 365 programs

You have done bank reconciliations, payroll, GST returns, PST returns, WCB returns, accounts receivable and accounts payable

You are able to communicate orally and in a written format with clients and team members

You really like working with other friendly people who enjoy coming to work and love working together to do the best they can do for themselves and their clients.

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
