Reporting to the General Manager, the Bookkeeper will provide general accounting transactions and administrative support for the organization.
Responsibilities include:
Full cycle accounting using QuickBooks Online including accounts payable/receivable and providing financial updates to leadership
Responsible for reviewing invoices, tracking customer payments, reconciling accounts and following up on payments in arrears
Matching PO's and posting to QuickBooks
Processing payments via cheques and EFT's
Monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card reconciliations,
Ensure company compliance with tax laws and regulations
Tracking and maintenance of Inventory Management
Assisting with payroll, deductions remittances and benefits for hourly and salaried employees
General office and administrative duties
Requirements for the role:
Minimum 3 years of accounts payable and receivable experience
Must have experience using QuickBooks Online
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft office
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to provide customer service and effectively communicate with clients and vendors
