The salary range for this position is CAD $27.10/Hr. - CAD $27.10/Hr.Job SummaryCome work as a Booking Clerk, Diagnostic Imaging in Sechelt, BC!Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Booking Clerk, Diagnostic Imaging to join the Radiology-Ultrasound Team at Sechelt Hospital in Sechelt, BC. Apply today to join our team!As a Booking Clerk working with the Radiology-Ultra Sound department you will:

• Support the delivery of client care and ensure client/family needs are met.
• Utilize computerized systems as well as considerable tact and diplomacy to schedule and book clients for a variety of diagnostic imaging appointments.
• Perform duties including;

• receiving requisitions for exams,
• organizing appointment times with clients, physicians\xe2\x80\x99 offices, nursing units, and technical team members,
• rearranging schedules to meet changing demands/requests,
• preparing and confirming client information, entering booking and client information into applicable computerized and/or manual booking and client information systems,
• making follow-up appointments, filing requisitions for all bookings, and maintaining appointment and waitlist statistics.

• Also, provides other clerical support such as reception duties, responding to enquiries and requests for release of report information, filing, and photocopying/faxing.

Sechelt Hospital provides a full range of services to the community, including Emergency care, Renal program-community dialysis units, Mental Health and Substance Use Services, surgical services, birthing for low-risk pregnancies and imaging services.QualificationsEducation & Experience

• Grade 12, two (2) years\' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

• Ability to type 45 wpm.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to deal with others effectively.
• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• Ability to organize work.
• Ability to operate related equipment.
