We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of our organization and requires proficiency in accounting software.As a Full-Cycle Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounting process from start to finish. Your duties will include:
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring timely collection of receivables.
Bank Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Expense Posting: Accurately posting expenses to the general ledger and maintaining proper documentation.
GST/HST Filing: Preparing and filing GST/HST returns in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Payroll Support: Assisting with payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically QuickBooks.
Familiarity with payroll systems and account reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
