To continue to work towards our mission and help our clients do more in life, we're looking for a Bookkeeper to join our head office team.

About the Bookkeeper role:


As our Bookkeeper, you'll be the backbone of our financial health. You'll ensure accuracy and efficiency in our day-to-day financial transactions, from managing accounts payable and receivable to supporting payroll and reporting. Other responsibilities include:

Overall responsibility for the accounting function using QuickBooks Desktop/Online to support clinics and head office. Responsible for Accounts Payable & Receivable functions, bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations Full reporting, filing and accounting of HST/PST returns Review expense sheets and conduct reimbursements as needed Working on ad-hoc tasks or responsibilities as and when required Provides, to the Controller, the senior level recommendations to support current and future strategic fiscal recommendations for operational and budget planning Leads, in partnership with the Controller, both external and internal audits, works directly with external auditors and partners as required Leads the month end close process and is responsible for the preparation and review of the monthly financial statements Coach, support the franchisees as needed Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for management review. Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical

Qualifications & Skills



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel) Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

About this opportunity with BioPed Footcare:



This is a full-time permanent position working daily, typically from Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm on-site in our Oakville office, with the occasional opportunity to work remotely.
