Boilermaker

Braya Resources is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious

Boilermaker

to join our Maintenance/Turnaround team. This role is responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and related structures. This role includes metal fabrication, welding, and rigging work, primarily in industrial and high-pressure environments such as refineries, power plants, and manufacturing facilities.

Required qualifications:

Relevant trade certification and Industrial experience Journeyperson Boilermaker Certification (Red Seal preferred), Apprentices are welcome to apply Valid welding certifications (e.g., CWB or ASME standards) considered a strong asset Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pressure systems and codes (e.g., ASME Section VIII) Valid Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Powerline Hazard and WHMIS certificates Ability to adhere to company safety policies and procedures Experience working at heights and confined spaces Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills

Interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the types of materials and equipment to use and plan the required tasks. Able to work independently or as a team with minimal supervision. Regularly lifts/moves object up to 25 lbs. Occasionally lifts/moves >50lbs. Push/Pulling forces up to 50lbs are required. Work repetitively involves reaching/stretching, bending, and twisting; regular standing, walking, and climbing. Use of gross and fine motor skills; constant use of hand tools that require accurate control and steadiness and maintaining physical balance (e.g., Ladders/scaffolding). Work environments can present exposure to loud noises or environmental hazards. Work in outdoor and indoor environments, exposed to various weather and site conditions.
