We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bodyman to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and bodywork, with the ability to perform high-quality repairs on various vehicles. As a Bodyman, you will play a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.
Duties
Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs required to restore the vehicle's body.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform bodywork, including welding, sanding, and painting.
Replace or repair damaged panels, bumpers, and other components as needed.
Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to ensure comprehensive repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes and timelines.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bodyman or in a similar role within an automotive repair setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Experience with heavy lifting as required for vehicle repairs.
Previous work experience at a dealership is preferred but not mandatory.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
