Due to an upcoming retirement, Amherst Collision Center has an opening for a skilled and reliable Body Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for performing a wide variety of duties related to automotive collision repair.
This is a hands-on role that requires automobile knowledge and related skills. Responsibilities include:
the desire and ability to work as a team member
tearing down various body panels on vehicles to reveal damages
installing new body panels when damages are extensive and require replacement
repairing rather than replacing, when possible, the damaged components to acceptable OEM specifications
preparing panels for painting
welding and bronze welding
an ability to work with various power and hand tools
conducting pre and post scans and completed work inspections
maintaining an organized and productive work area
