Bobcat Sales Specialist

to join our team in

Moncton, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Bobcat Operations Manager, the Bobcat Sales Specialist is responsible for driving strategic sales growth of our Compact Equipment product lineup in Eastern New Brunswick. This includes managing key accounts, developing new business, and executing territory sales and marketing initiatives to grow market share and strengthen customer relationships.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Developing and executing strategic sales plans to meet or exceed annual sales targets Managing key accounts, building strong long-term relationships, and staying current with customer and industry requirements Prospecting and securing new business accounts within the assigned territory Collaborating with and supporting internal sales and service staff in the selling and promotion of Bobcat and related product lines Building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and OEM partners Staying current on product knowledge, equipment capabilities, and competitive offerings Managing ordering, pricing, and margins for inventory within established guidelines Developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies for the territory Preparing and maintaining customer and territory status reports, including sales call activity, pipeline, closing ratios, follow up, and prospect reports as required Representing MacKay's professionally at customer sites, industry events, trade shows, and manufacturer functions Ensuring all activities align with company policies, safety standards, and brand expectations
Required Skills:

Strong customer service orientation with a focus on long-term relationship building Highly motivated, self-directed, and goal-driven Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills Proven ability to identify opportunities, prospect new accounts, and close sales Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Strong business acumen and comfort working with sales targets and reporting
Required Experience:

Previous sales or sales management experience is considered a strong asset Experience in the compact equipment, construction, heavy equipment, or related industry is considered a strong asset Solid understanding of equipment applications and customer needs in construction, landscaping, agriculture, or related sectors is an asset Must be able to obtain or hold a valid passport and be able to travel domestically and internationally as required for training and manufacturer events Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
