Roe Environmental Inc. is an environmental consulting firm specializing in construction mitigation planning, fish and wildlife services and compliance monitoring.

POSITION SUMMARY

: Roe Environmental is seeking a capable light-duty vehicle operator to support with boat fueling and transportation of samples. The operator would be responsible for fueling boats and transporting supplies and environmental samples to and from Squamish and the greater Vancouver area. This role requires flexible availability to accommodate potential short-notice, evening hours, or weekend requests in addition to regularly scheduled items.

POSITION TERM

: Position available for immediate start with a temporary contract on an as-needed basis, with the potential for up to 30 hours a week.

POSITION LOCATION

: The position will be based out of Squamish, BC, in support of an environmental monitoring program associated with the construction of a marine terminal at the Woodfibre LNG project.

REQUIREMENTS

:

? Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract

? Experience safely operating large pickup trucks carrying heavy loads

? Possession of, or ability to immediately obtain, a current TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) certificate

? The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

PREFERENCE GIVEN TO

:

?Priority placement will be given to Indigenous candidates with demonstrated experience, competency, and a good safety track record

? The ideal candidate will be local to the District of Squamish

COMPENSATION

:

? $27.00/hour - $30.00/hour based on experience and qualifications
