Outlaw Eagle Manufacturing Ltd.requires an assembly technician for final assembly of jet and outboard boats in our rigging department. Knowledge of boat operating systems or related craftsmanship an asset. Background in automotive mechanical, electrical, RV or hobby mechanics required. The successful candidate will posses pride in workmanship, attention to detail and a desire to learn new skills in a unique job. Duties and responsibilities
  • Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
  • Assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies. Perform assembly required for test preparation and final inspection. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform wire cutting, stripping, dressing ends and other simple cable operations.
  • Work in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and deadlines are met. Work at a pace that meets expected productivity goals.
  • Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Rework and/or repair assembled products as identified in quality checks or specification changes.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly.
Qualification requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical knowledge, manual dexterity, good eyesight, as well as the ability to perform repetitive tasks. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
  • Must have an eye for detail and exhibit high standards of fit and finish.
  • Poses self-motivation skills.
  • Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team based attitude. Support peers in time of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility.
  • Provide your own basic hand tools.
Physical demands and abilities
  • Regularly lift 30-50 pounds.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks.
  • Regularly possess manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits:
