Join our Board of Directors and help shape the future of ENWIN Utilities Ltd. We are seeking a committed, community-minded individual to join the Board of Directors of our local utility company. As a Board Member, you will help guide the strategic direction and vision of the organization to connect communities through clean energy and water solutions while supporting the mission of guiding, innovating, and growing our customers' access to safe, reliable energy and water resources.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide governance oversight and strategic input;
Represent the interests of the community and stakeholders;
Support ENWIN's vision and mission.
Preferred skills and experiences of an effective ENWIN Board member:
Professional senior management experience in Information Technology, Law, Engineering and Asset Planning, Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Regulatory, or Risk Management.
Governance experience.
Experience in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of electricity sector.
Knowledge of Windsor - Essex Business Sector.
Knowledge of broader public policy.
Business and commercial expertise.
Experience in large systems management and operation maintenance.
Experience and expertise in economic development initiatives.
Preferred competencies of an effective ENWIN Board member:
Effective communicator.
Accountable and responsible.
Strong customer focus.
Effective leader.
Agile and effective change manager.
Capacity to drive strategic vision
