Job description
As an integral part of the drilling operations team, the blaster is responsible for installing explosives in blast holes according to the company's blasting plans.
####
Main tasks
Respect safety standards at all times; Inspect the work environment at the beginning and end of the shift; Complete the equipment inspection card (if applicable); Read and understand plans and specifications; Handle, transport, and store explosives (and accessories); Load explosives into blast holes; Unblock blast holes using a compressed air hose when necessary; Any other related tasks.

Requirements
Have a high school diploma or other equivalent degree; Underground hard rock common core in Ontario; Hold a valid explosive license; Fluent in English is required. ###
