Responsibilities include:

- Follow all site safety rules, JSAs, and safe work procedures

- Complete all training assigned by PACL.

Properly use all required PPE for sandblast, painting and on site operations.

- Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings

- Follow all PACL procedures and practices.

- Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections on required equipment.

- Set up and operate blasting equipment.

- Prepare steel and other substrates in accordance with SSPC / AMPP standards

- Verify substrate cleanliness and profile using appropriate gauges.

Mix and apply coatings as per manufacturer's data sheets.

Perform quality assurance checks on coatings and record findings.

- Identify and correct application defects.

- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly.

- Work as a respectful and effective member of the team.

- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule

- Follow direction from the Field Supervisor or Foreman

- Maintain consistent production while meeting quality and safety standards

- Be a positive representative on PACL while travelling or on site.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

First Aid Certification.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.

Sandblast and coatings experience preferred.

NACE / AMPP certification preferred.

Schedule:

This Role will primarily be at remote job sites but work in the office may be required. Hours on Site: 11 hr per day; 77 hr per week; 2 week in-2 weeks out Rotation; 40 hr per week while in Saskatoon office.
