It serves as a central point of access into homelessness services while providing basic needs support, housing intake and assessment services, community engagement initiatives, and connections to clinical support from local partner agencies.

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Program Lead, assisting with the effective and efficient implementation of the City of Windsor's Homelessness and Housing Help Hub Program within established program requirements and agency policies.

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the on-site staff while being flexible and dynamic to meet the needs of participants and community members accessing H4. The Site Supervisor is responsible for assuring the organization's values and philosophy of consumer choice; harm reduction and recovery-oriented supports are expressed in all aspects of team practice. The Site Supervisor maintains oversight to ensure services are prioritized for participant self-identified goals for housing and recovery; while enforcing program safety policies and procedures for the well-being of participants, on-site staff, partner agency staff and community members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Staff Management and Supervision
Oversee daily activities of staff, ensuring they adhere to program policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
Hold regularly scheduled team meetings to provide program or agency updates and maintaining strong communication with on-site staff to adhere to program directives.
Provide guidance, support, and training to staff members.
Conduct the recruitment, onboarding, training, and evaluation of program staff on an ongoing basis.
Manage and organize staff schedules, coverages, time[1]off requests, and call-ins.
Participant Services and Support
Ensure high-quality service delivery to participants, addressing needs and concerns promptly if support is required from the on-site staff.
Monitor client interactions to ensure they are treated with respect and dignity.
Implement and manage service restrictions to prevent serious occurrences, incidents, and uphold program safety, as needed.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans for clients.
Conduct case management file reviews with Housing Intervention Workers to ensure comprehensive wrap-around supports, effective service coordination, timely service delivery, and adherence to program procedures are followed.
Attend community case conferences as needed to support service delivery coordination to high-acuity or highly barriered participants.
Reporting and Documentation
Complete daily operative tasks, complete mandatory safety and incident reports, and maintain communication databases in a timely and effective manner.
Utilize data management systems to track and report on program metrics.
Other Activities
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Open/close the program daily.
Receive, track, and order program inventory and supplies as needed.
Complete other duties as required.
Education & Skills:
Post-secondary education completed at an Accredited Canadian University with a minimum of Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Social Science, or relevant College Diploma.
Work Experience:
1-3 years recent and relevant experience in management or program supervision for vulnerable individuals,
OR
3-5 years' recent and relevant experience working with vulnerable / low-income / marginalized individuals.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Capable of working both on own initiative and in a team environment.
A strong background in service delivery tailored towards marginalized individuals.
Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience / knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Software, Internet, and standard office equipment is required.
Knowledge In-depth understanding of housing insecurity, homelessness, and the challenges faced by vulnerable and marginalized populations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the local Emergency Shelter system, Social Services, and Community Agencies in Windsor-Essex.
Ability to communicate and lead effectively with diverse staff and community partners.
Experience and knowledge working with individuals experiencing chronic homelessness or other vulnerable / marginalized populations from a person-centered perspective, preferred.
Ability to speak other languages an asset.
Certifications and Other Requirements:
Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Checks required.
Updated CPR and First Aid Certification required.
Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI), Mental Health First Aid, and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) certification an asset.
Must have reliable and effective mode of transportation.

Able to assess complex situations and develop effective, practical solutions within each context. Capable of making sound decisions under pressure, prioritizing tasks, and employing critical thinking to navigate immediate challenges.
Safety:
Demonstrates skill around personal safety, de[1]escalation of clients and ability to advocate for responsible harassment free behaviour.
Relevant Work Environment:
The workweek will be a minimum of 16 (sixteen) hours, including availability and flexibility for evening, weekend, and statutory holiday work as required.
The role may involve physical activities such as walking between different areas of the facility, standing, bending, lifting materials up to a certain weight limit, sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods, and other tasks that require mobility within the facility.
