Job Type: Full Time

Hourly Rate: $17.85

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers. Following operational procedures and policies for customer service, cash handling and coffee service. Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as teas, iced drinks, specialty coffees like espressos, cappuccino, cafe latte including art latte technique. Prep work for beverages and food related products Practice proper food safe procedures Inventory checks and restocking Maintain the orderly and clean environment of the Bistro including: + Cleaning and maintaining equipment
+ Cleaning the workstation, tables, counters, floor
+ Washing dishes
+ Maintaining garbage and recycling
Ensure inventory stocks of Bistro area are replenished and ordered All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Scandinave Whistler

Prerequisites:

Previous experience as a barista or in food and beverage is an asset Well-organized and detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs and frequently bend and twist from the waist. Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings and special events as needed. Excellent communication skills Clear criminal record check
