Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our culinary team as a Biryani Chef. This role involves preparing authentic and flavorful biryani dishes, ensuring high-quality standards, and delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a love for traditional cuisine, strong culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook various types of biryani using authentic recipes and techniques Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and used efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area in accordance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service times Monitor cooking processes to ensure consistency, flavor, and presentation standards are met Assist in menu development by suggesting new biryani varieties or enhancements Adhere to food safety standards and hygiene protocols at all times Manage inventory levels of spices, rice, meats, and other ingredients needed for biryani preparation

Experience

Prior experience in Indian or South Asian cuisine is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Strong knowledge of traditional biryani recipes, spices, and cooking techniques is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn more about authentic biryani preparation
