To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System - we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We are now preparing for our upcoming commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.
As a member of the testing team, you will apply your analytical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems, chemistry, and biology to ensure that our next generation Globe Mapping and Ablation System is suitably clean, sterile, biocompatible, and effective. Working closely with a collaborative and dedicated team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the development, commercialization, and on-going support of an innovative and highly complex medical device.
Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.
Meaningful work you will be a part of
You will engage in activities that develop practical and transferable skills such as:
Developing and executing formal tests to evaluate the efficacy of cleaning processes, optimize production processes, and validate test methods
Performing preparation of test articles and documenting the process steps
Gathering, interpreting, and reporting on data to support biological safety evaluations
Communicating with external test facilities and interpreting external lab reports
Analyzing data using statistical methods in Excel and Minitab
Authoring test protocols and reports to support regulatory submissions
Working with teams across the company, including risk, quality, and design engineers, to assess process or design changes and resolve root cause investigations

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or applied science combined with 2+ years of experience.
A strong grasp of mathematics, statistics, and analysis tools
Excellent writing and documentation skills
Enthusiastic about seeking innovative solutions to unforeseen challenges
A working knowledge of, or interest in, chemistry or biochemistry would be an asset
Positive, proactive attitude and ability to execute tasks with an appropriate level of independence
Demonstrated communication skills and success working in a team setting
Compensation
Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.
$75,000 - $105,000 (CAD Annually)
