Biology & Chemistry Teacher

Job Description
The successful candidate will work with students grades 11-12 biology and chemistry on:
improving their understanding of the subject matter
improving their study and test taking skills
prepare for upcoming tests, and exams
:
Conduct an initial assessment for the students (frequent assessment afterwards)
Tailor lesson plans to address their needs
Establish a good rapport with the students
Work with the student on improving their organizational and time management skills
Work in close cooperation with the director and/or parents to address any behaviour issues that may affect the child's learning
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science
. Bachelor of Education
OCT is preferable
2-3 years of experience working with primary-junior students is preferable
Extra qualifications in math is an asset
Extra qualifications in special-education is an asset
Local candidates ONLY will be accepted (Sarnia-Lambton)
Flexibility to work in person or online with students
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
