Supervise laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists and other professionals Write articles meant for the general public about wellness issues Conduct biostatistical data analysis using computer modelling techniques Participate in the commercialization of new products Perform administrative tasks Supervise biological technologists and technicians and other scientists Compile and analyze statistical information provided by private and public health care institutions and organizations Produce reports Recruit and hire staff Conduct molecular or biochemical studies and experiments in genetic expression, gene manipulation and recombinant DNA technology to develop new or alternative methods of producing products Present the views of an association or organization to members, the media and the general public Prepare research papers, educational texts or articles Conduct interviews Conduct literature reviews Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia Monitor and compile research results Offer mentoring Monitor and evaluate
