Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operator to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various operational tasks, including packaging, machining, and forklift operation. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our production processes.

Duties

Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent downtime and ensure safety standards are met. Assist in the packaging of products, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and prepared for shipment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all company policies regarding cleanliness and safety. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise, utilizing strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand machinery operations. Familiarity with packaging processes and standards. Experience with machining tools or equipment is advantageous. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
