BIM Manager - Luxury Retail & Corporate Projects

TalentSphere is working with a highly respected mid-sized architecture and interiors studio with decades of expertise delivering luxury retail corporate projects across Canada & globally. Their portfolio features collaborations with top tier brands: their teams are known for precision, creativity, and technical excellence.
They are seeking a BIM Manager to work directly with senior leadership to elevate the firm's digital practice. This individual will be instrumental in training teams, optimizing BIM methodologies, and ensuring best-in-class digital delivery across all projects. The role includes shaping BIM strategies for competitive bids, establishing and monitoring BIM standards and KPIs, and driving continuous innovation within the studio's design technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead BIM training, onboarding, and mentorship across all project teams.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor BIM execution plans, standards, and KPIs.
  • Support proposal and bidding efforts with defined BIM requirements, workflows, and deliverables.
  • Optimize firmwide digital workflows and manage BIM processes across Autodesk Construction Cloud and other CDE environments.
Requirements
  • 8+ years full-time post graduate experience in a BIM related role in a multidisciplinary architectural firm; with strong understanding of Canadian and international BIM standards
  • Strong technical mastery of BIM platforms and hands-on experience in BIM project coordination.
  • Deep understanding of BIM workflows, including the ability to structure, optimize, and maintain file exchange protocols within ACC and similar CDEs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud, Revit, and Navisworks.
  • Expertise with Revit families, templates, and BIM libraries built to client, industry, and organizational standards.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and reporting (an asset).
  • Ability to create scripts using Dynamo, Grasshopper, or other visual programming tools to automate workflows, manage data, or generate complex geometry (an asset).
  • Demonstrated success leading BIM teams, managing digital coordination, and supporting multidisciplinary design environments.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to champion digital innovation across the studio.
