BIM Designer
to join our team at our Main Office in Maple Ridge.
This position will design and draft services for a variety of facilities, including healthcare, residential, institutional, and commercial projects.

Reporting to the BIM Manager, the
BIM Designer
will design, model, and coordinate HVAC systems using Revit and related tools to support prefabrication and installation across healthcare, residential, institutional, and commercial projects.
Specifically, theBIM Designer will:
Draw and design mechanical systems and services in Revit and CAD.
Coordinate mechanical services with the architectural and structural design.
Spool mechanical services for fabrication.
Produce drawing sheets and sleeving drawings.
Evaluate designs to ensure that design standards are being met.
Review and analyze specifications, blueprints, and Engineer's drawings to ensure PMP's design meets the design intent of the Engineer of Record.
Works to deadlines as provided by the BIM Manager.
Works with the Project Manager of the assigned project as needed.
Works with the subtrades to coordinate mechanical services.
Maintains familiarity with all applicable building codes and industry standards.
Conducts site/shop visits as required to assess the success or failures of Revit designs to improve modelling going forward.
Maintains a favourable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment.
Attend project meetings as required.
Perform other duties as required.
Education and Experience
Previous experience in the mechanical industry is required.
Formal education in engineering and/or plumbing experience would be an asset.
Knowledge of, and ability to use, Autodesk products (Revit and CAD), Revizto, Victaulic Tools, SysQue, Stratus are required.
Previous experience with Dynamo is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with Trimble.

Compensation:
$70,000 to $95,000/year + 5% RRSP + Full Benefits Package (100% Company-Paid) + Life Insurance + AD&D + LTD.
