An exciting firm is looking for a Billing Clerk whose interest is piqued by finance. In this Billing Clerk position, your responsibilities will include reviewing bills and entering data into spreadsheets and accounting software. - Assign PO numbers to jobs received from clients and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage and process packing slips to facilitate invoicing procedures.
- Assist with minimal Accounts Receivable tasks, which are centralized out of our head office.
- Prepare sales accruals for month-end reporting purposes.
- Respond promptly to client and sales team inquiries regarding billing and invoicing matters.
- Generate and pull reports as needed to support billing processes and data analysis.
- Add notes for missing information on projects and take necessary steps to obtain required details.
- Assist in adding missing labor hours, quotes, and other relevant information to projects to ensure accuracy.- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or related administrative roles.
- Strong understanding of billing processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
