Billing Specialist

Job Description


We are looking for an experienced AR Specialist who thrives in a dynamic, hands on, small team environment and fosters our culture of collaboration and getting things done.
Reporting to the Manager, Revenue & Billing Operations, the successful candidate will play a critical role in the Order-To-Cash process by ensuring the prompt billing and collection of customer invoices while supporting the development & enhancement of our processes including helping us leverage our systems to drive automation and analysis.
How you will make a difference

  • Develop and build relationships with key stakeholders within Sales, Legal, IT, Operations, and Finance teams
  • Review complex, multi-faceted sales contracts and enter them into Avidbots\xe2\x80\x99 ERP system in a timely & accurate manner
  • Ensure that customer invoicing is completed within 24 hours of shipment, and that renewal contracts are invoiced in a timely manner & accounted for accurately Navigate customer portals to understand payment requirements and support in resolving open billing issues
  • Take ownership of key Customer Accounts through regular review of overdue balances, cash collection, cash applications, resolution of billing issues, and regular reconciliations as directed by the Manager, Revenue & Billing Operations
  • Support and refine credit management functions in order to minimize credit risk to Avidbots and proactively collaborating with sales leadership
  • Assist in annual financial audit by preparing working papers and data collection
  • Support cash forecasting and cash management activities, as needed

Key Requirements & Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience as an Accounts Receivable Professional (or equivalent)
  • Professional experience in the manufacturing and/or technology industries
  • Superior knowledge of Excel, reporting tools, and ERP Systems; Epicor experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt with a high degree of accuracy in a fast paced, dynamic
  • Willingness to take initiative and be proactive with limited direction
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
