Billing Manager

Job Description


Duties: -Overseeing the billing process: Billing Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all billing activities within the organization. This includes ensuring accurate and timely billing of services or products provided, generating invoices, and resolving any billing discrepancies. -Ensuring accuracy of financial data: It is Billing Managers responsibility to review and validate all billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. This may involve conducting regular audits and reconciliations to identify any potential errors or inconsistencies. -Collaborating with other departments, such as rates, finance, and customer service, to ensure smooth billing operations. -Coverage, Training, and supervising billing staff. -Managing and maintaining customer billing records and databases. -Monitoring and analyzing billing data to identify trends or issues. -Developing and implementing billing policies and procedures. -Staying updated with relevant regulations and industry changes related to billing. Look for new and improved ways to automate. Requirements: - Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred but not required in lieu of experience. Must have a minimum of 2 years relative experience in the transportation industry. Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel (key), and TMS and WMS systems. Delegation of authority and responsibility. Information gathering and monitoring. Coaching skills. Adaptability, teamwork and collaboration. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to meet urgent deadlines. Good analytical and mathematical skills. Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently. Knowledge of applicable regulations, health and safety protocols, public safety and security, administration and management, transportation principles and methods, management principles and methods, personnel and human resources, labour relations and customer service. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year Benefits:

Experience:
  • transportation industry: 2 years (preferred)
