Job Description

At Powerline Plus Ltd., we focus on three main operations:

Electrical, Civil Construction and Engineering & Design. Powerline Plus Ltd. provides quality solutions to public utilities, municipalities and developers, as well as to industrial, national and international manufacturing companies across the GTA. Billing staff at Powerline Plus Ltd. plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate activities related to civil construction projects under the direction of the Construction Manager. This role involves a high level of multitasking, critical thinking and coordination to oversee numerous civil construction projects. This role will be in the office and in the field. Billers participate actively and maintain ongoing relations with foremen, supervisors, project coordinators, management, clients and external stakeholders.

This is a Billing role, NOT a Project Coordinator role, your resume must reflect BILLING experience

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Completion of a College Diploma or University Degree in Project Coordination, Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Design or related discipline required A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Locates Coordinator, Project Manager, Project Estimator, Billing Coordinator or other related role in a large utility, natural gas or telecommunication construction company required A strong knowledge and understanding of locates and permit attainment required Valid 'G' Driver's License with clean driver's abstract required Must be able to work outdoors in adverse conditions such as: heat exposure, cold temperatures, rain, snow etc. Ability to gather, collect, assess and report critical information Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project required

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reading, comprehending and interpreting blueprints and drawings Site visits to multiple project sites for measurements Prepare change orders and additional supporting documenting for submission to clients for approval as well as to third party auditors as necessary Maintain constant line of communication with civil foreman, supervisors and construction mangers Various administrative tasks, included but not limited to, scanning, photocopying, inputting data into spreadsheets and databases

Pay: $40,695.50-$69,031.25 per year
