Position Summary

Cornwall\'s award-winning Transport Company, Seaway Express, a division of Canada Cartage, is looking for a highly motivated Billing Clerk to join their team. The billing clerk will be responsible for supporting the dispatch team with administrative tasks, examining shipment documents, billing, data entry and answering incoming calls and emails.

This full-time position is based in Cornwall

Location: 605 Boundary Rd, Cornwall, ON K6H 6K8

Schedule: Monday to Friday, afternoon shift - 3:00pm to 11:00pm

What you\'ll do

• Providing daily administrative support to the dispatch team
• Ensure all expectations and service levels are met
• Working in a time sensitive, fast paced environment as part of a cohesive service driven team
• Daily data entry of paperwork and ensure all information is accurate and correct
• Respond to incoming calls and emails
• Daily contact with customers / drivers, regarding orders, pickups and deliveries
• Respond and comply with other tasks, which may be reasonably assigned during the course of and in addition to the completion of normal duties
• Other duties as required

What you\'ll bring

• Previous customer service, logistics or transportation experience is an asset
• Bilingualism is an asset, but not required (French and English)
• Prior data entry or administrative experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and phone/email etiquette
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
• Organized and proactive
