Overview:




In this role, the

Billing Associate

will be responsible for setting up and maintaining billing for customer accounts, adding service types and bundles, applying promotional pricing, processing payments and receipts, and managing billing-related service tickets. Additional tasks will also support technicians and customer experience personnel by generating service tickets and ensuring smooth, coordinated communication across departments.


Key Responsibilities:




Set up and maintain customer accounts in the billing system, including Internet, TV, Phone, and Fiber service packages, bundles, and promotional pricing

Ensure accurate application of bundling rules and promotional offers

Generate and distribute invoices; process billing adjustments as required

Process a variety of payment types, including EFTs, pre-authorized debits, and deposits

Reconcile transactions and assist with collections as needed

Create and manage billing-related service tickets for technicians and customer experience personnel

Resolve billing inquiries and service requests efficiently and professionally

Utilize billing and CRM systems to manage workflows and generate reports

Collaborate with internal departments to deliver a consistent, customer-focused experience

Qualifications & Experience:




Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or customer service (telecom experience is an asset)

Familiarity with billing and CRM systems is a strong asset

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Strong time management and organizational abilities
