The impact you will have:

As our Billing Analyst you will perform tasks related to day-to-day administrative billing needs with a focus on recurring billings for Cloud and Services. You\'ll support the AR function and customer billing needs by providing timely and accurate invoicing including credit and debit memos. You\'ll ensure order entry processes have enough controls and flexibility to produce accurate and timely invoices to customers. You\'ll work with the Manager Billing Operations, and the team to accurately track and flag issues around order entry processes, ensuring enough controls and flexibility to produce accurate and timely invoices to our customers. Daily interactions with internal customers through telephone, email, Microsoft Teams and on-site. Occasional interaction with external customers primarily via email.

What you\'ll do:

  • Receive and analyze billing data and issue invoices to customers in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Consolidate invoices, split invoices, update business partners on sales contracts, add pertinent information, match customer PO, proforma invoicing, indicate extended terms when provided by credit team, currency exchange, and correct taxes based on credit or debit tax adjustment processed by tax team.
  • Credit rebills analysis and decision making regarding possible adjustments.
  • Review and obtain approval of delivery adjustments.
  • Review, define and resolve issues relating to billings.
  • Collaborate with peers and other teams\' members including Supervisors, Managers, Branch Managers, Outbound Sales, District Managers, Sales, Operations, Services and Billing to resolve issues.
  • Educate internal customers on policies and procedures to ensure customers are given accurate information.
  • Participate in conference calls with sales for customer enquiries and to ensure customer satisfaction with billing systems.
  • Issue credit and debit memos in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile revenue, costs, and margins.
  • Update pricing in sales contracts as per company policies and procedures.
  • Send cost reconciliation statements with POs to A/P team.
  • Identify and address areas of improvement on processes and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental ad hoc projects where customer service or process issues arise.
  • Provide support and backup for tracking partner invoices for teaming.
  • Assist team members in billing operation functions.
  • Provide coverage when short staffed.
  • Provide coverage on month/quarter/year ends and holidays.
What you\'ll bring to the table:
  • Post-secondary education in accounting or a related business curriculum or one or more professional designations.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in billing.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and superior organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal managerial input.
  • Receptive, detail oriented, sensitivity when engaging in potential issues, data input, and data recording.
  • Consistent demonstration of initiative, positive attitude, professional mannerisms, and commitment to personal, team and company goals.
  • Hands on experience of SAP is an asset.
