Job Title: Billboard/Vinyl Installer

We are looking for an independent, self-directed, responsible individual looking to learn. This is job is for someone who can manage their day with no oversight, earning your coworkers respect through trust, consistency and reliability. We are looking for an active person capable of extended periods of activity. Climbing ladders, working on platforms, moderate lifting of up to 70 lbs is required. You must be very comfortable with heights, lifts, ladders and working in all weather conditions.

This person would install tarp style billboards throughout the city and surrounding area. The ideal candidate would have experience posting Billboards/banners but since those people don't exist, we are ready and willing to train the right candidate. If you are good with your hands, enjoy being outside, can work from heights and have a valid drivers license this might be for you. You must feel comfortable driving to surrounding areas in winter conditions. Now to the good part, although it is an active job it is not hard labour. You will have many breaks driving between sites. The position includes excellent benefits and a solid salaried wage. There is periodic overtime required to accommodate workloads and weather but much of this is self directed. The job has seasonal peaks/valleys but we balance that with our banked overtime program and ensure you have a consistent pay check every month.

In addition the position would require supporting our vinyl installation team. Training will be provided but you must have attention to detail and work well with your hands. Many of these applications would be on city transit shelters/buses so navigating to specific locations and parking safely is required.

We are looking for someone with a positive self-directed attitude. We have a great team that knows what they are supposed to do and just does it. Must be comfortable working at heights and using light hand tools. Sleek is a COR certified employer so attention to safety is the top priority. You must be willing and able to take all safety courses including fall arrest, lift certification and WHIMIS/First Aid. All training will be provided but strict adherence to our safety policies is mandatory. Must have a valid drivers licence and safe abstract.
