Position: Travel Coordinator
Location: Toronto

Our client, a B2B group travel leader, is hiring a Bilingual Group Travel Coordinator to join their high-performing team. In this role, you will build travel packages/sales proposals for prospective group travel.

This is a 100% remote full-time permanent job opportunity with employment perks offered!
Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:

- Contact customers to confirm the request\'s reception and specify their needs
- Prepare travel proposals such as develop travel itineraries, research, and verify information on different suppliers and tourist products, calculate quotations using our systems, and ensure the accuracy of all data
- Send completed travel proposals to clients and follow up on proposals and document the results (follow-up, completed sale, cancellation)
- Create and complete the client files in the system
- Adjust programs and quotations if needed during the sales and operations process for the group travel packages
Qualification and Skills Required:
- Degree/College diploma in travel and tourism or equivalent related experience
- Must have at least 1-2 years of travel coordination or consultant experience in the travel tourism industry or hospitality industry
- Ability to multi-task efficiently working with various projects on a daily basis
- Ability to plan, organize; set priorities and manage processes
- Must be bilingual in both French and English
- Having TICO licence is considered an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong MS Office Suite skills
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and make decisions
- Problem-solving and good judgment/decision-making skills
