Hybrid (remote and onsite)

The opportunity:

Responsible for delivering onsite, telephonic and virtual Critical Incident Stress Management intervention after a traumatic workplace event, as well as consultation for CIR and related services.

Responsibilities:
  • Support clients virtually in the immediate aftermath following a traumatic workplace event;
  • Provide a preliminary assessment of a presenting workplace situation, and coach managers as required;
  • Organize traumatic event support services by interacting with internal clients, external clients and affiliate providers;
  • Manage the administrative requirements as dictated by the Trauma team;
  • Occasionally travel on-site to deliver defusing, debriefing or on-site support for terminations/downsizings;
  • Facilitate interventions within a corporate environment.
Who we are looking for:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work;
  • Registration with SW College or Association or Counselling Association (eg. CCPA);
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required;
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience;
  • CISM, CISD training or EMDR certification;
  • Demonstrated crisis management skills and ability to provide crisis solutions to clients;
  • Group counselling or facilitation experience is an asset;
  • A valid driver\'s license is required.
