Le/la specialiste du transport gere et coordonne les operations quotidiennes de transport afin d'assurer une livraison des marchandises ponctuelle, efficace et rentable. Vous serez responsable de la gestion des relations avec les transporteurs, du traitement des reclamations liees au transport, ainsi que de la gestion des factures de transport. Vous aiderez egalement l'equipe des achats lorsque cela sera necessaire.


Le ou la candidat(e) ideal(e) est rigoureux(se), proactif(ve) et possede une experience en coordination logistique et en resolution de problemes.


Emplacement :

Vous travaillerez au bureau de Montreal, selon un horaire de travail conciliant les presences au bureau et le travail a distance.

Vos responsabilites - Votre carriere a Moneris



Effectuer des fonctions liees a la chaine d'approvisionnement et a la logistique, pouvant inclure l'approvisionnement en materiaux, la planification de la production, le controle des stocks, la sous-traitance, la selection des fournisseurs et la distribution. Planifier et coordonner les expeditions sortantes. Collaborer avec les differents transporteurs. Surveiller les activites de transport afin d'assurer une livraison ponctuelle et resoudre les retards ou les problemes. Gerer et completer les reclamations de transport, y compris la documentation, le suivi et la resolution. Examiner, gerer et soumettre les factures de transport pour approbation et paiement. Maintenir des dossiers precis sur les expeditions, les couts de transport et la performance des transporteurs. Soutenir la documentation douaniere et les exigences liees aux expeditions transfrontalieres. Collaborer avec les equipes d'entrepot et d'approvisionnement pour aligner le transport sur les besoins en inventaire. Identifier des opportunites d'economies et d'amelioration des processus dans le domaine du transport.

Votre profil - Votre carriere a Moneris



Diplome ou formation en logistique, gestion de la chaine d'approvisionnement ou dans un domaine connexe. 2 a 3 ans d'experience en coordination du transport ou en logistique. Bonne comprehension des reglementations en matiere de transport et des processus logistiques. Experience dans la gestion des reclamations de transport et la collaboration avec les transporteurs pour resoudre les problemes. Maitrise de Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Excellentes competences organisationnelles et en communication. Capacite a gerer plusieurs taches simultanement et a travailler dans un environnement dynamique. Le bilinguisme (anglais/francais) est requis. Une experience prealable avec AS400 est un atout.

The Transport Specialist manages and coordinates daily transportation operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods. You will oversee carrier relationships, handle transport-related claims, and managing transport invoices. You will also help the procurement team when required.


Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in logistics coordination and issue resolution.


Location:

You will be based in our Montreal office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

: You will report to the Director, Supply Chain

Perform supply chain and logistics functions, which may include material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments. Collaborate with the different carriers. Monitor transportation activities to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays or issues. Manage and complete transport claims, including documentation, follow-up, and resolution. Review, manage, and submit transport invoices for approval and payment. Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight costs, and carrier performance. Support customs documentation and cross-border shipping requirements. Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to align transportation with inventory needs. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in transportation.

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in transportation coordination or logistics. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics processes. Experience managing transport claims and working with carriers to resolve issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook). Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/French) Prior experience with AS400 is an asset
