With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain reinforced its worldwide leadership in light and sustainable construction by becoming the top siding player in Canada and enlarging its vinyl offer with complementary solutions in aluminum and engineered wood.

In support of this acquisition, Kaycan, has an exciting career opportunity for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Partner to join the HR team.

As a highly effective partner to the different lines of businesses and demonstrated subject matter expert, you will use your consultative and influencing skills develop and implement solutions that enable hiring of the right talent for our businesses across many functions such as Branch Sales Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc

Externally, you will excel at talent identification and attraction, networking, candidate assessment and delivering a consistently positive candidate experience. Internally, the role is that of consultant to the business, validating positional requirements against market availability, utilize creative sourcing channels to build a diverse pipeline of candidates and overall assuring that we hire top talent who are excited about Saint-Gobain and our Purpose in \xe2\x80\x9cMaking the World a Better Home\xe2\x80\x9d.

Responsabilities

  • Develop partnerships with hiring managers and HR Partners to set the direction and understands the hiring needs to execute sourcing and recruiting strategies for the company\'s key functions including Branch Sales Operations, manufacturing, engineering, sales, marketing, leadership roles
  • Becoming knowledgeable of our business to ensure you can articulate our value proposition and serve as the ambassador of Saint-Gobain Canada via various channels
  • Perform full-life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, shortlisting a qualified talent and diverse talent pool for selection and own the offer processes
  • Maximize sourcing channels, networks, diversity channels, social media, university relations, career fairs, etc.
  • Provide Best-in-Class candidate experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruitment process.
  • Identifying gaps in the talent demand/supply and actively work with stakeholders to bridge the gaps.
  • Maximize utilization of market research techniques to enable more effective and efficient hiring.
  • Evaluating and sharing the results of your own productivity and effectiveness through regular distribution of defined performance metrics.
  • Follows up with new hires to collect feedback for onboarding process.
  • Participate and collaborate on projects for example: recruitment tools for hiring managers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s degree and 5+ years\' relevant experience or similar combination of education and experience required.
  • Experience in talent networking to convert prospects to applicants.
  • Recruiting experience using social media (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Ability to develop and communicate appropriate metrics, interpret trends, and adjust strategies as needed in response to changing market conditions.
  • Customer focused, adaptable, with superb follow up and organizational skills.
  • Innovative & Creative mindset for suggesting ideas that improve talent pool sources.
  • Results oriented & strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders (HR, Hiring Managers)
  • Passionate about finding the best talent
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to partner well with others to effectively accomplish goals.
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian employment law and policies as they apply to recruitment and selection.
  • Bilingual in English and French
Preferred
  • Prior experience sourcing/recruiting for positions in Manufacturing, Engineering.
  • A background in search and/or RPO combined with internal corporate recruiting.
  • Project management, organization, time management/prioritization skills
