Position: Bilingual Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Location: Ottawa, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid Role: Combination of remote work and in-office)

As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will:
  • Assists recruiters with job requisition creation, posting job descriptions, screening applications and resumes
  • Assists with the overall recruitment process including, but not limited to:
  • Interview coordination
  • Conducting criminal background and reference checks
  • Preparing new hire documentation such as Employment Agreements
  • Ensures timely collection of new Hire Documentation
  • Provides support in maintaining recruitment records and metrics
  • Manages the referral program with the support of the Talent Acquisitions team and internal stakeholders
  • Aids in the maintenance of the Applicant Tracking System
  • Provides support to Human Resource Business Partners on an ad-hoc basis
  • Assists with special projects as required
We would like you to have:
  • Bilingualism required (written and spoken) in French and English
  • College diploma or University degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience or education preferably within Human Resources
  • Ability to work under pressure generated by short deadlines
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Is attentive to detail and accuracy is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of quality problems, owns/acts on quality problems.

  • Innovative and willing to share ideas openly
  • Willing to be collaborative with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills within the HR function
