Who we are looking for:

Wunderman Thompson is looking for a Bilingual Social Media Manager to join the team driving social media accounts for Microsoft. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day social media management for your assigned audiences. Your network and knowledge are within the software and technology sectors, with good knowledge of social audiences.

We are open to candidates in Toronto and Montreal.

What you\'ll do:

  • Social Content & Planning | Manage the Canada social media content calendar for assigned audiences ensuring alignment with content strategy. Collaborate with Microsoft\'s PR team to integrate local stories and news into the social content calendar. Review regionally produced social media campaigns and content to ensure it aligns with brand and compliance guidelines. Community management including replying to comments & messages received across social media channels. Ensure all Microsoft social compliance and channel standards are consistently met.
  • Reporting | Ongoing organic reporting, social listening & influencer outreach. Regular tracking, reporting, and analysis generating actionable insights and learnings. Provide ongoing competitive benchmarking, best practices, and innovative ideas to the team. Stay abreast of digital/social trends.
  • Events Support | Advise on best social media practices for event coverage. Build social strategy and planning for local events in collaboration with Events Marketing Coordinators. Provide local live event coverage on social media channels. Manager post-event reporting and coverage.
  • Stakeholder Engagement | Ensure regional guidelines for setting up and managing social channels are followed. Be a local social media expert on tone of voice, platform features and corporate tools. Inform local stakeholders if a crisis management situation arises and support accordingly. Educate & support Microsoft stakeholders on social media best practices, trends, and insights.
Who you are:

What you\'ll need:
  • 2 to 3 years of community management experience, including experience with B2B communications.
  • English and French fluency required.
  • Experience developing platform-agnostic social strategies, with channel thinking beyond Facebook and Twitter.
  • Proven understanding of how technology solutions are implemented today.
  • Advanced skills with Sprinklr an asset.
  • Knowledgeable about analytics and social listening platforms an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft - particularly PowerPoint and Excel - brand and products an asset.
