1-2 years server experience in a similar environment Previous point of sale system experience an asset, but not required Excellent communication and organizational skills Fluent in both official languages required Smart Serve Certification required Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible and reliable Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables. Sanitize tables and dining areas between guest visits to maintain cleanliness. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
