Join the First-Time Homebuyer Initiative team in the Client Operations sector, where we make housing affordability solutions easy. Your quality assurance skills and passion for client service will oversee the decisions relevant to underwriting, servicing and lending activities by mitigating risks while helping support the delivery of the First-Time Home Buyers Program.

This is a temporary position of a duration of 18 months.

Responsibilities:
  • Offer advice, support and alternative solutions to clients and stakeholders including the communication of key decisions, the interpretation of policies and the response to inquiries.
  • Conduct detailed audit analysis involving program/product requirements, including but not limited to applications, financial reviews, existing and new loans and claim/subsidy eligibility.
  • Apply sound judgment and decision-making practises that are factual to derive recommendations and solutions.
  • Participate in internal processes involving performance monitoring and quality assurance by reviewing and preparing detailed reporting on outcomes.
  • Exercise prudence and diligence to ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures applicable to the function.
  • Maintain quality relationships with clients to understand their needs and objectives and explore opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance or commerce.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procedures, policies and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends and developments in Canada and of industry partners
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a professional association designation would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of CRM, GSL, emili & Excel and Power BI.
