GENERAL FUNCTION

The Revenue Optimization Specialist will report into the Revenue Optimization Team. The Revenue Optimization Team provides a second line of defense for fraud and revenue opportunities for Check Cashing, Loans and Business Accounts. The Revenue Optimization Specialist is responsible for providing a high level of customer service support for retail stores and digital customers in Canada and the Unites States. Revenue Optimization Specialist primarily provide subject matter assistance related to the check cashing product, however, support other products (such as loans and business accounts) as well.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide exceptional customer service via a friendly demeanor, genuine willingness to provide assistance and solve customer issues and clear, concise communication.
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant products (Check Cashing, Business Accounts and Loans) and current support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to users.
  • Participate in training workshops as required.
  • Meet standards in all key performance indicators and metrics as directed by management.
  • Be available to timely respond and resolve issues.
  • Support store personnel and provide customer service on collection matters when collectors are not available.
  • Maintain all necessary records requited for document retention.
  • Extensive understanding of all company policies and procedures
  • Interface directly with store staff via telephone, chat and e-mail
  • Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Secondary Education preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • 2-5 years of Financial Services store experience
  • 2-5 years Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience
SKILLS
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to be confident, assertive, well-organized, and detail oriented.
  • Prior experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Technical proficiency in relevant operating systems, applications, and/or languages is required.
  • Ability to work within flexible shifts scheduled to operate "retail business" hours of operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong problem solving and technical writing skills.
  • Problem Solving, specifically basic problem solving related to our products, services and systems.
